Paypal - Is this a scam?

I have a mobile advertised on Gumtree.
Someone has offered to buy it off me using paypal.
Although they claim to be from NI, they say they want it posted to a friend in Nigeria and will pay the postage.
I was a bit wary and today i received the following email.
Does this ring true or is this a scam?
When i click on the ? beside confirmed its a dead link.

I'd tell him it was shipped, thank him for the sale and make up a reference number. but then I do enjoy things like that, and today I am a little bored.

Yep it's definitely a scam! My brother sold his old phone on E-bay and, unfortunately, fell into the trap and was conned out of £40. Funnily enough, it was also sent to Nigeria.
