Hello
Since breaking down next to the rhinos at woburn safari park, then ending up being towed home, my poor citroen ax (m reg) has sat down my driveway with a suspected head gasket gone. This was 2 years ago...... We didn't have the money to get it repaired and didn't think it was worth getting repaired so basically just left it there......
really would like to get this shifted before another gypsy person comes down my drive and asks me if its for sale!
Any ideas?

Your local council may take it away for free0

Freecycle? I've seen cars with similar repairs required advertied on my local group.0

Couldn't you just sell it to the next gypsy who comes down?0

get it crushed with a certificate to prove it (which will be issued at point of collection)
look in the yellow pages to find someone, it was free when I had to do it a couple of years ago. somewhere around the vehicle dismantlers section I think.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0 -

If you take it to a scrap metal dealer it must be worth atleast £100, if someone comes round to collect it you won't get anywhere near that much
If you have a friend with a beavertail transit or a car trailer get them to take it round for you
If not just stick it in the local paper at say £75ono and see if you get any calls0 -

I wouldn't bother contacting that we buy any car website - your best bet as SCBK says is to phone a few local scrap dealers. Price of scrap is sky high at the moment and you should easily get £100 for it.0
