I fail to see why you are being congratulated for making yourself bankrupt. I would call it more 'embarrassing'. Spending money you didnt have in the first place is irresponsible. Why should you not have to pay back the money that you have already spent/had, like most of the people on here have to. :mad:0

Oh how nice to see another troll NOT.
Jayne070 i hope you never find yourself in a situation that most people find themselves in. As you are trolling the threads why dont you have a look for a thread where someone has said that they have borrowed all the money to live the high life and that they will go BR so they dont have to pay it back. Good luck as you wont find one.
There are many reasons why people on here get into financial difficulty and i have been made redundant 3 times in my working career in well paid jobs due to economic climate and companies deciding that India would be cheaper than the UK.
None of us set out to loose everything some people on here loose a house or a car and if your like me you would have lost 15 years of my life trying to pay back what i borrowed but when i look back at the situation i was being robbed by the banks who were just putting up interest and wacking on interest at will i would have needed to live to 150 years old to pay it all back but the fact remained that the through bad luck and greedy banks i had to in the end admit that i just could not pay it back and if you ever get someone BANG BANG BANG on your door at 6 in the morning you would know the feeling.
People yes do get excited when they get to the otherside of BR as its a long journey and you get your life back with the promise of a shiny new life.
Its sad that you say what you said and i hope it does not happen to you but if it ever does i would change your name on here as you might not get any sympathy.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Oh crawl back under your bridge:mad:
I sincerely hope you never find yourself in a position where you are no longer able to pay your debts, due to ill health, death of a spouse, marriage breakdown, redundancy, or any other situation beyond your control, as the vast majority of people here have.
We do not congratulate people for not paying back their debts, beleive me most people would love to be in a position to. Congratulations are for people taking the HUGE step of bankruptcy and freeing themselves from the burden of overwhelming debt.
I suggest, before you make further foolish, narrowminded statements you actually reals WHY people have found themselves in this position instead of believing you have the right to condemn.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Im sure there are a lot of people on here that would agree with me. Just dont say. I just think that its sad to be congratulated for being made bankrupt. I dont think its something to be proud of.0

Oh and by the way. I am entitled to my opinion as much as anyone else on here.0

No one says you cannot have an opinion but why not be constructive instead of being nasty. Time will tell if it happens to you one day.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

Jane 070  - i do hope you don't find yourself in the same situation as a lot of us and yes you can voice your opinion but if you read what has happened to most people here then you may well understand their situations. I am not proud of being bankrupt but when you have no other choice then what do you suggest people do ???
I do hope you don't find yourself in the same mess as i would defiantly change my name if you come back here. People come here for support and if it had not have been for this site i really don't know if would have got through it.:rotfl:Made Bankrupt 30/7/2008 @ 14.22pm:rotfl:

wouldnt let the likes of Jane070 bother you..people like that come and go.....its a fact of life due to the open nature of these forums we always seem to attract the so called "experts"......tell you one thing though if i'd had a pound for every time I heard the "i'm entitled to my opinion" speech & the "why are you congratulating someone who's gone BR" I wouldnt have had to go BR myself!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0
