Had a couple of free trials and now they send me offers of 3 months for the price of 1. Have taken them up on this a couple of times, the last time being the 8th May. So, called just now to cancel and they said they hadn't charged me in May due to a 'system error', and so would take the money now and then cancel the subscription. Checked my account online while she was on the phone and they hadn't taken the money. However, now I save money and I only have money in my account which is accounted for, bills, etc. Told her I thought it was very poor and asked to speak to a supervisor. She came back to the phone and said as a goodwill gesture they would waive the fee and proceeded to cancel my account. Result.0

They are the worse company ever. very long winded tale. But took out a free trial. Rang them up and cancelled well within the time frame and sent back the dvd. Thought nothing more of it till got credit card statement to say they have charged me. many calls by me later they are refusing to to give me a refund as they have no record i rang to cancel. I was v mad rang and to cancel again (would help if i spoke to someone that could speak english) they said cancelled this time so won't get charged again however my account is still active. I sent another email saying i have cancelled and if they continue to charge me again i will take matters further and had a reply saying do i want to continue to use the service and upgrade my account agghhhhh do they not get the hint i want to cancel:mad::)Mummy to 2 wonderful boysWant to be fit for 30 not fat at 30but i want never gets!!!0 -
Avoid...It took months to get the free boots voucher offered with a trial. Really bad customer service and poor response to emails0

I had no problems when I cancelled after my free trial and my £10 Toysrus voucher came straightaway. Would definitely use them again.0

i had no problems but would empty your list completely, and then send the dvd back waiting for it to show up as received on your account page, and then cancel online, which you can do after about 9 or 10pm I think.0

I'm on my first free trial (3 months, I signed up on the 29th June). How late can I leave it before I need to cancel so I won't be charged? Thanks0

Leave atleast a week for any errors. When you get the last dvds you want, remove all dvds from your list. Send the two back and then cancel when they confirm they have them back.
Theyve been great so far, as have all their little 'spin offs' (odeon ..etc..) I wasnt eligible for a free mp3 player from them but got it anyway. Thumbs up.0 -
i had 9 months all in all of free trials!! the 1st two times i had to ring and cancel (which was only a 5 minute call) i just said my circumstances had changed and on the 3 trial i was able to cancel online.
like others say ... return all discs just b4 the trial expires and make sure you delete your rentals list.
i was happy wacthing and playing 4 9 months.... cheers lovefilm (lovefree)
