    Still stuck on 5 NSDs... feel doomed! Did go and investigate Lidl but think I need to try lower price brands within current supermarket before I would really benefit. The meat was cheaper and chocs but not convinced re rest....
    Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
    1) MFW Nov 21 £202K now £172.5K Equity 36.11%
    2) £1.6K Net savings after CCs 14/8/25
    3) Mortgage neutral by 06/30 (AVC £25.6K + Lump Sums DB £4.6K + (25% of SIPP 1.2K) = 31.4/£127.5K target 24.6% 1/9/25
    (If took bigger lump sum = 53.3K or 41.8%)
    4) FI Age 60 income target £17.1/30K 57% (if mortgage and debts repaid - need more otherwise)
    (If bigger lump sum £15.8/30K 52.67%)
    5) SIPP £4.8K updated 29/7/25
  • Another one for us! That makes 7 and there's still time in the month for more! Moving house at the moment so having to pay out for different things but at least I am thinking of the NSDs and trying to do all the spending on the same day!

    I almost had an NSD today but spoilt it by going to the beach and having an ice-cream with my friend and our kids. Must admit we had a good time and I think it was worth it, don't do it often!!

    Fingers crossed I'll have one tomorrow lol

    Afraid it was a spending day here with me today, bought the mag, couple of bottles of juice and a card (as I'd left it too late to make one, grh!) and gave my little bro and sis some dosh as they're off on holiday.

    Prob won't be one tomorrow either, it's going to be tight!
