No spend day number 8 today, hasn't been such a good day ( dad taken into hospital with chest pains, he reckons he's fine, ecg is clear so far) so although I felt like getting a chipie on the way home from the hospital and treating myself to chocolate I didn't !!
Came home and buried myself in piggy clicks and ebay posting ( made £110 from Ebay this weekend)
Looking for number 9 NSD tomorrow
Hope everone else is doing well !!

Wow I think you deserved the bag of chips hun, I hope you dad is in the clear now. xxxx

Well I am on NSD 17 today. I have friends coming over, but have managed to find enough supplies in the cupboards to make them Lasagne, jacket potatoes and I will attempt to make some garlic bread later on today. I will also make a bread & butter pudding and custard.

I have no lager for them but I have Sloe gin & lemonade so that will have to do.. hehehe.

Its abit embarrassing cause one of the couples are BIG SPENDERS and not into my way of trying to not spend and be frugal so they will probably find it abit strange having homemade stuff and back of the drinks cupboard drinks. hehehe :D

Nevermind, I am not ruining a NSD for ANYONE!!!

Had a NSD yesterday - limped home on an empty tank - will get fuel when I next go out (which will be to the post office so will involved spending anyway!). Could be NSD today unless I do well on my assessment an am ready to post it by this evening! 2 more to get this month!

So close... yet so far. The appalling rain at lunchtime meant I stayed in the office and away from the shops - but then after I went out and about this afternoon I had to spend £1 at the toll bridge to get back. Probably won't manage number 5 tomorrow either - hoping for Wednesday!

    Hi BI,

I reckon that as you have no choice but to use the toll bridge, you should count that as necessary spend. After all, "going to work" "spends" generate future income and it could be argued that you could discount them. Otherwise you'd struggle to ever get an NSD!

So congrats on an NSD for yesterday!:T

Managed a NSD Sunday thank goodness :j. This challenge is harder than I thought and is REALLY making me face up to my spending. For example I spoiled yesterday's NSD by buying a small box of biscuits. WHY????? I mean what was the point - it's not even healthy, necessary food. I think I'm running out of days in August to meet my challenge now . Deep breath. Keep ploughing on. I WILL get better at this!!

GAA, someone at work stole my lunch out of the fridge!

I bought my lunch yesterday so I wouldn't have to spend today, kept it in the work fridge overnight, and this morning it was gone !!!

It was a chicken wrap costing £2.20, and I can't go without lunch today... Do you guys think that if I spent no more than £2.20 today on lunch, and no other money today, that I could still claim today as an NSD? I hope you agree :)
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
