    hi inactive

i presumed it wasnt my tv aerial as im still getting normal channels with no probs

I would try to borrow a known working freeview receiver before splashing out.

Analogue TV ( normal channels ) may still work on a very weak signal, digital Freeview ones will not.

  • I have a Daewoo DS608p and lost my signal due to the transmission change.
When I contacted the manufacturer they told me that I would need to buy another set-top box, as mine is now obsolete. I was not offered a replacement and will not be buying any other Daewoo products.

Are you in one of the following areas? Cheshire, Greater London, Lancashire or South Yorkshire

If so, and you have one of the following boxes you may be affected by a transmission change which took place yesterday.

    Set- top boxes
    Daewoo DS608P
    Labgear DTT100
    Triax DVB 2000T
    Portland DP100
Combined set-top box and video recorder
    Daewoo SV900
    Bush IDVCR01

You can find further details and contact numbers for the manufacturers on the Freeview website:

    Hope that helps
