have you tried turning the freeview box off at the socket for 10 mins, then restart. sometimes they need a full reset especially after stormy weather...
either that or have you noticed a new building (bigger than yours) being built nearby.... perhaps they are blocking your signal.....smile --- it makes people wonder what you are up to....

Are you in one of the following areas? Cheshire, Greater London, Lancashire or South Yorkshire
If so, and you have one of the following boxes you may be affected by a transmission change which took place yesterday.
Set- top boxes
Daewoo DS608P
Labgear DTT100
Triax DVB 2000T
Portland DP100
Combined set-top box and video recorder
Daewoo SV900
Bush IDVCR01
You can find further details and contact numbers for the manufacturers on the Freeview website:

Hope that helps0 -
hiya

oh well...looks like im freeview shopping today.....anyone know where there going cheep? lol0 -
Surely if your Daughters Freeview Receiver isn't working, along with your own, chances are it isn't the receivers, unless of course you have had a power surge from a storm, highly unlikely to wipe out 2 receivers.
More likely your TV aerial.0 -
hi inactive
i presumed it wasnt my tv aerial as im still getting normal channels with no probs0 -
Perhaps your transmitter is having engineering works done at the moment? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Possibly not related but my "Freeview" went a bit "strange" yesterday but only the sound disappearing on ch 5 and a couple of others. The signal has been breaking up occasionally recently but I can put this down to high atmospheric pressure during the summer we just had! There is a name for this which escapes me but it's the signal bouncing back and getting jumbled up with the analogue transmission, something like that anyway.
Do you know which transmitter you receive from?
Check here for any possible problems due to maintenance after entering your postcode and finding your transmitter etc. http://www.ukfree.tv/transmitters.php0
