Although I am moaning about them at the moment, they are good kids and I feel a bit bad about moanin about them. They went through a really rough patch after I had DD3 - I lost my job and went through tribunal and OH was made redundant three times. They literally went without for quite a while. DD2 even lent me her penny jar once. People on here were offering me prom dresses for her as we couldn't afford one.

Now OH is working again - self employed - on good money and we are paying our debts off but its started to become too easy to throw money at them and its begining to show in their attitude. Its awful really - I need to take stock and see what I am doing to them.

I am finding it tough cos me and OH have very differnet attitudes to money. I would not spend anything having been through the last few years. He thinks we can afford it and we have had a few tough years why not spend it!!!!!! We aren't racking up any more debt we pay for the things we want rather than putting it on credit!

Our DD3 is so entertaining she is the best thing that has happened to us...

Afternoon all.

Thanks for asking JY - I'm on a bit later today as there was a meeting with the head honchos this morning to discuss our findings from the audit. On the home straight now though. Just the detail report to draft and a pesky $14m difference to reconcile and we'll be sorted. 2.5 days and counting;)

Maz - glad to see you tackled the bonus point. Did you take the opportunity to ask your boss when he would like to schedule the appraisal for and what you need to do to prepare? I find that if you're not actively pursuing these things they stay at the bottom of the other person's to do list.

Sammy - even wonder woman couldn't be diana riggs at the same time she was saving the world! - cut yourself some slack for goodness sake!:p

Spud - for < and > I always remember the pointy end goes towards the smaller number;)

Anyhoo - back to report writing!
