I can empathise... I've got my MOT tomorrow... luckily I've got £40 in tesco clubcard vouchers which'll pay for the MOT. Just have to pray it doesn't need much doing..Burlesque_Babe wrote: »ouch...............:( just done car tax ..........hurts even more just 4 days after the MOT..........This is not a signature.... or is it?Clydesdale loan £955 £174.42 saved. £780.58 to go.0 -
wish I was wonder woman Lucifa!
The extra pain is that Norwich Union have withdrawn my pay as you drive insurance and I've got about 3 weeks to find a new policy with someone. Pay as you drive was fantastic - I was only paying £12 a month!

Why have they withdrawn it BB?This is not a signature.... or is it?Clydesdale loan £955 £174.42 saved. £780.58 to go.0

apparently not enough take up! I just don't think it was making them any money - my premium was £8 a month and then about £4 in mileage. Easier for them to stick me on a bog standard policy - they quoted me about £20 a month instead - instant profit!
I'll start looking at quidco etc in the next few days.

I've got to tax our car tomorrow BB, and the insurance was done yesterday. We ended up going with Sheilas wheels, almost £50 cheaper than the renewal and £45 cashback from Quidco

Hello from sunny Bradford!
I had a rude awakening this morning, got up all groggy and put my robe on to come downstairs and make a cuppa to wake me up. I was filling the kettle and felt a tickling on my back. I thought it was a hair until I felt it moving upwards....
opened the collar of my robe to find a bloody great big spider in there, good job the curtains were still shut because I squawked and ripped the robe off sharpish and shook mr hairy legs onto the floor where he promptly shot under the dishwasher for cover. I was awake after that!!!!

aargh, that has made me shudder Linda!
