You have copied them to D, you need to MOVE them. Just delete the ones you have copied to D from C.
Did you not try moving your My Documents like I suggested?
I have a "documents" file that has a few spreadsheets in, and I have a seperate "pictures" and "music" file. I am usnig vista so I don't think I have a file with everything in. Will try cutting and pasting, then emptying the recycle bin too.0 -

You can fix this in iTunes quite easily, but I can't remember off the top of my head and don't have it on my laptop. I'll check on my PC later if you're still stuck. Think it's somewhere in settings where you tell it the location of the library.0

If you could let me know how to do it when you get to your pc that would be appreciated!0 -

Have done this, but no music is appearing on itunes - although there is definitely music in the d-drive. Tried selecting "D drive", also tried "i-tunes folder" and "i-tunes music" folder (both in d drive) but no luck. If I go into i-tunes music folder is has individual folders for each artist.
Any thoughts?0 -
Managed to sort out the itunes problem but only by putting all the music back in the C Drive.
Have tried moving different documents and programmes from C to D but it keeps causing problems with the laptop.
Going back to where we began with all of this, can anyone tell me how I can either use some of the D Drive memory into the C Drive, or merge the whole of D Drive into the C Drive?
If this is not possible, how can I quickly, easily and cheaply add/buy more memory for the C Drive?
I am not a PC expert so need instructions as simple as possible!

Can I just check, when I get to Disk Management, it has a square with the C and D drives next to each other. If I right click on these, I can Shrink Volume. Should I shrink volume of the D Drive and then it wil enable me to extend the volume on the C Drive?
Thanks0
