Hmm. Shame there is not a website with all of this info on (you know, where you can drill down through various parts of a UK map)

Saying that, whenever I am in beograd I have mine done. Amazing dentists at 1/5th of the price - and they even let me pay in pretend money (Euro) last time.

Poppycat, if you can make it into Leeds they offer the same thing at the LGI. Couldn't recommend them enough - as they are students they learn all techniques, ie the Maryland bridges offered by private dentists that are not available on the NHS. I had top-class work done on my teeth that would have cost £8-10k privately all FOR FREE!!!!!!!!!!

Hi katiemay! Hope your'e flashing your gnashers with a beaming smile!! How did you get to register for treatment with LGI? DH really needs new dentures but unfortunately out of our budget at the moment. Any info would be gratefully received, we just live in York so could easily get to Leeds.

My daughter is at Newcastle Uni and they have a dental training section. The students can go for free, might be worth asking if public can too.

No but its really difficult getting one and our town was on national media couple of years back, sadly it isn't much better

If you do a search in google for 'London dental hospital' or 'Free Dental LONDON' you get loads of links - there is a dental school over in East London as well that I found, and seem to remember NHS Direct telling us about another. The NHS direct website apparently lists all the dental hospitals around the country, and they are free apparently, so that might be a place to start. Good luck
