Tel: 08457104010 if you would like to try a clubcard plus card.

A DD is required but this can be for as little as £10 then top your card up at Customer Service.

Hi I've got my Clubcard Plus form and only want it to double shopping points (no credit etc). I don't want to have a big SO/DD but some people on this thread seem to have problems with topping up at Cust Serv's.If you have to make another journey before you can use it, you need to work a week in advance then?
Someone suggests phoning Automated Balance using a pin but do you need all this stuff if you only use the card for (relatively small) weekly shop?
I notice the original MSE article suggests £1 DD !! Would Tesco accept this? Maybe £10 would be OK.

Remember also that your usual points per annum pre CC+ won't directly double once you start using the CC+ - some of your usual points would mbe via extra points till spits and mailing coupons, and these won't double - you'll only get the flat amount. Your physical spend in store or on fuel where you use the card to pay will get the 2 pts per £ though.

Has anyone done a DD for ony £1 as Martin said and had it accepted by Tesco?
  • If you are already an existing customer you will not be allowed to open a Clubcard Plus account to gain the double points. This is totally unfair and they should be brought to task over it.
