Using mobile phone as a modem
Hi i want to connect my pda to the internet via mobile phone. My pda model is hp ipaq 214 and my phone is samsung soul (U900). When i was trying to set up the connection it asked me for country code, area code and mobile phone number. So for country code i put in 44 and area code i put in 0208 (i think this is wrong).
Anyway the details said that "connection could not be established because it would multi home an exclusive connection for example (for example if, activesync was connected)"
Anyone have ideas on how i can solves this problem.
Thank you

You have to use a 'spoof' dialling code as the connection isn't dialled it goes over gprs or 3G depending on your handset. If you do get it to connect through dialing your next bill will be HUGE...
If the handset is from your own network give them a call and they should be able to talk you through the setup.0
