  • Hi All,

I have just signed up to become a consultant so was glad to find this thread and seem how everyone is helping each other out on here :) I have my starter party this Friday and my first party without my manager there next Friday (am a little nervous but very excited!)
Just wondering if anyone has any cue/prompt cards they could email to me as i'm a little worried about keeping the flow of my parties going and think that some cards would help.

    Thanks

    Tracey x

    Hiya everyone,
I'm thinking of joining bsah, i've asked most of my friends and family about parties 1 said a definate yes with a couple of maybes but most of them are just too busy to host a party so i was wondering - are you able/allowed to hand out the catalogues to get sales that way? If you are happy days as loads of my friends and family would defo want to order something.

  • Good Luck Tracey with your Starter Party on Friday and your next party the following friday... sound fab! I'm sure you are nervous, its probably only natural but expect you will be fine..

Nicky, I'm sure you are allowed to distribute the catalogue however you like, even if you aren't holding parties it still counts towards sales.. Why not try and get them to ask their friends, work colleagues if they are interested in looking at the catalogue too...

I signed up on Tuesday, decided to go for it, nothing to lose and if it goes wrong I can just stop... I've set a date for my starter party, sent text and emails to peeps yesterday inviting them and I've had a few responses, mainly no's so I have offered them the catalogues to have a look. I think when I get my starter kit I'm going to speak to the neighbours see if they fancy coming round for a fun body shop party :-) only thing is I don't know them that well but now I guess this is a good opportunity to try and get to know them better...or will they just see it as sales, sales, sales....

I have booked 2 friends parties in and have 4 more to book in...

So I'm a newbie now and need all the help I can get!!

I think i'm gonna go for it. Just hope they let me hand out the mags instead of having parties (parties may be difficult as my OH works nights and i've got 2 little us under 4 but i'd defo have enough spare time to drop off mags and collect orders:p), but like motherofboys says a sale is a sale surley. Hopefully i'll be back soon.

  • Im still trying to get my 4 parties booked. I am going to have one myself, my dads ex said she wants one so thats fine by me, we are having a family holiday next week so going to take some catalogues and get some orders there so really i only need one more.
I have got all my business cards, leaflets etc done so gonna get them handed out and I have made up some really nice gifts that people can get if they book a party with me. So I think im nearly there.
Just need game ideas and my kit!
I think we should get this forum up and running again properly, it looks like it was really good when it was started.

  • Hello!

Nice to find this thread :-)

I joined TBSaH at the end of May, I must admit I am finding getting parties booked a little thin on the ground. I have done three fetes, given out business cards and told everyone I meet! I even had a big launch party, out of 60-80 invitations just me sister-in-law came.

I have one party booked for July and one in August (this one was a store giving the lady my number when she came in, as I had left some business cards with them).

Even a friend who really wants a party cannot get her friends to come!

So really any useful effective tips for getting the parties rolling in would be greatly appreciated.

    Have Fun!
