hiya! im thinking of doing a big body shop party in my local school hall for the mums and aunties of the children one evening. any tips on how i could have enough variety with around 40ish people? and to produce enough interest to get some orders and parties out of it. should i do it as if its my own party in my own front room and not change anything? xxCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0

I really would love to join body shop , but all my friend I talk to are online ...... so I don't know weather or not this is going to be a problumand do you have to pay for the kit ???? .
as I said I really want to join body shop A.S.P
Hiya Girl in Need!
The kit price varies each month. this month its half price at £47.50 providing you reach sales of £425 by the end of May. The standard cost of the kit is normally £95, but you will recieve over £500 worth of products and business tools.
You can hand out catalogues to your online friends who could collect in orders for you - a brilliant and fast way of making sales!
The best way is through parties though...its more fun and you will always get a bigger reward from the hands on interaction with the products. Have you any close friends, relatives who could hold parties for you, and then collect orders via your online friends?0 -

Hi Keza!
It would be brilliant to do this big party! There is so much you could gain from it. Would it be like a fundraiser for the school/a charity or just a location to invite a big group of people to?
With bigger groups, its usually easier to put a few different displays out around the hall, maybe a table for facial/skin care, a table for bath and body products, a spa wisdom/wellbeing range table, new summer collections/bronzing on another? etc whatever you like....and get everyone to come and sample the products.
You could offer a free mini treatment at each table - a mini makeover/bronzing/facial/clay wrap/hand massage so this would be great if you had some helpers!
Use this as an introduction to the parties. Use it as a bookings drive to get people to book one of the themes at their party. Maybe offer an incentive for booking that night like a bath lilly and shower gel for each host.
You could use your prize draw forms to collect details of everyone who wants to join/book a party. This would be fantastic to go through the next morning, as itd be impossible to get to talk to everyone that night!
A raffle would be exciting, just wrap a few incentives with a bath lilly in cello-wrap with a bow and sell tickets for 50p each/3 for £1.
Accept orders on the night, but it may be worthwhile organising a collection night too - unless you dont mind delivering all the orders! You'll have the customer PWP and spend incentive for these orders which will entice shoppers! If you plan in advance, you could hand out catalogues and order forms a week or so before to get those coming to the party to collect a few orders from their friends/family too.
If it is a fundraiser, then more people will be willing to place orders or have a go on raffles/fundraiser grids.
Alternatively, you could have it as more of a 'controlled session' where its very much like a party - everyone sits round and could learn a hand massage/facial in pairs and play some games rather than just wandering around and having a natter!
Iv done a few fundraisers with local groups such as the Brownies and Girl Guides, Theyve always gone really well and the parents love joining in with the demos and its all high spirits to help raise some money!
Let me know if you need any more advice, and keep in touch with how it goes if you do this! Good Luck!

Hello! Welcome to the Body Shop at Home!
How did your phone round go?! Im having one of those tomorrow!!
Have you joined in the half price kit offer this month? There's no bolt on for the half price offers, but you do get a load more than the photo does credit for! I spend hours going through my kit when it arrived, its so exciting! You get basically a bit of everything to start you off.
I need to get some business cards printed too....havent quite worked out the whole official ordering form so i may try vista as its more straightforward!
What are your car stickers like?
