    Hi ladies,

2 things that are being asked, monica like it was said before if you dont have your success start stuff in your order dont panic as it is normally on llocation that it appears and its normally 1 month later.
And the fundraiser topic, the best thing to do for a fundraiser is donate 10% of your commission, this may seem alot ad i know your thinking it eats into your wages, but since there is no host you get the free and half pice shopping and its a great chance to add things to your kit, especially at this time of year, it means you can use te free shopping to buy christmas products to show at parties in oct/nov/dec.

Fundraiers are always worth it ladies trust me iv done a few.

    Hope everyone is doing well.

    Luv H xxx
  • How do you still get the free and half price shopping there, I am being slow I know but I am blonde!! I did not know you could be host and consultant at once!!
  • I'm going to try booking Christmas parties soon, offices are supposed to be good places, either for staff to buy presents, or for businesses to reward staff.
  • flickering ember you can be host and consultant.
A fundraiser is the same as having a party yourself. You are the consultant but you are also the host. You put every order through as a custmer order then when you come to doing the host details, you just put your own details in.
Then you take full advantage of the host shopping. It is the best way to get stuff for your kit!

  • Hi everyone, Just wanted to say this is a great thread!! really helpful, especially for new starters! (ive recommended it for my recruits).
As for the body shop at home - i don't know what i'd do without it now, it helps pay the rent, gets me out the house, keeps me busy & a few hours peace from the kids when iam at parties.
If anyone is thinking of joining i'd say 'go for it'!!

Thanks for this; can I do a fundraiser as one of my 6 parties to start with? It is all valid and above board; I do have a Justgiving page set up, etc...still having a hard time getting my parties.
  • You can do a fundraiser anytime, including in your first 6. You don't need a justgiving page if you're doing it for a charity.
I'm going to be trying to get some Christmas fundraisers through my local school, I'll be claiming the host benefits for myself and giving the school 10% of the sales from my own account (if they get over a set figure then I'll give them a higher percentage.)

If you're a bit clever with it then you could use the free and half price shopping to buy some of the customers orders? that way you don't build your kit so much but you don't loose so much of the cash either? I've not tried that but would be very interested to hear what other people think.
  • That is a very good idea. I am using some of the Christmas freebies from the conference to have as samples for customers, to encourage them to buy it. I want to have as wide a range including baby stuff, to maximise sales. I'll see what I need when I get my kit.
  • I'm the same, I want a really wide ranging kit so a certain ammount of free kit build would be really useful but i'm also doing this to earn money rather than a huge kit! I know the huge kit would help earn the money later but I still need to pay the rent now... at my first party yesterday one customer was really keen on the moringa body set (£30) but because she couldn't smell it she didn't buy it in the end. Oh how I wished I'd taken my personal mini body butter that lives in my other bag!
  • I got a fundraiser on 14th Nov!! Eeek! I just need somem more parties now.

I ordered new xmas catalogues. So my old ones I have used halg - stuck my business card on them and distributedt hem to doctors surgerys and stuff.

Also I eamiled a few local buisnesses and charities to see if they want a party/
    Has a job wooohooo" :j
