Almost forgot, I also wanted to ask:
My SS2 is available on quinstreet but it wont let me order it because the spa wisdom body cleanser is out of stock. I know from the DSU that this is sold through, and it seems unfair that I can't have any of the 6 products I am due because just one is out of stock.
Has anyone challenged this successfully? I'm ringing the care centre in the morning to try and get the other products without the out of stock one, but wondered if anyone had done this? Synonymous. When I joined they were out of pencil sharpeners so they just put me one on allocation when they came into stock, perhaps you could ask for your SS stuff and when they have decided what will replace the cleanser then they can put that on allocation for you? It's certainly worth a try. Good luck with it.
Ragz. Sorry to hear that you are thinking of quiting. You've done really well so far and I hope you've earned cash out of it and not just spent it all on products and supply items! I think i'd struggle to do this wothout my car, I need that ability to get to parties without calling on others to be happy doing this job I think. You've done really well and if you feel this isn't right for you anymore then best wishes for whatever you choose next.
p.s. my RM says the average length of employment as a TBSAH consultant is 3 months. She recons that approx 60% leave at that point due to lack of parties booked. She also says that anyone who stays 6 months is likely to stay for 2 years or more! (she did say Christmas squews it a bit but it's interesting isn't it!)0 -

Hi LeopardLady
If you go in 'edit order' on the consultant section of any order you are placing, it should be added to the list of kit build that appears above your order summary, so like in with the january sale body butters and the simply range. They are called SUCCESS START SALES LEVEL 1 2008, and SUCCESS START SALES LEVEL 2 2008 so easy to spot once they have been added.
I'm about to ring up about SS2 as its still showing unavailable because of the cleanser. xNST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

Hi guys, just to let you know what the care centre said about the SS2 being out of stock.
The lady I spoke to rang me back after her supervisor had chased this up with someone and apparently they haven't made a decision on what they are going to do about it yet! It is just the cleanser that is sold through, and I tried to get them to send me the rest without it but she said they can't do that. She agreed it would be likely they will substitute the cleanser with something else eventually.
She did say she would let me know when they had a solution though...NST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.

Hi Ragz
Like you I have had enough, I haven't made any money - more like spent more on stuff, which I now can't get rid of as I have used it for demonstration. I think you need to be full time dedicated to this sort of work if you are going to make a real go of things, not just part time with other committments. Oh well we live and learn - anyone for some cheap gear????

Hi PinkHairDryer sorry you've had a bad time too (though secretly glad I'm not the only one so don't look like a total quitter). Don't remember how long you've been doing it but I joined end of September so haven't even done the average of 3 months!
I don't know how I managed to spend so much as all the stuff I bought I have used apart from a few xmas bits which I can shove on ebay or give away as xmas pressies so not too bothered about those. I'm happy to have all the great products tho, especially the brushes, the stuff I won on SS I sold on ebay made a fair bit so happy with that (I was told they are ours to do with as we please).
Really didn't help that I don't drive, even though I was assured when I signed up that it would be no trouble at all, I couldn't afford taxis, there are no buses here at night and I can't always get lifts (and felt bad asking).

Hi guys,
Sorry that both of you are probably going to move on from body shop and that it hasn't been too profitable. If you do end up selling all your stuff off, I noticed the other day that people will buy used products on Ebay (well they'll buy anything!). There was a shimmer cube on the other day in used condition and bidding was up to £8! If I decided to call it a day I think I would have a 'closing down sale' with my mates, family and work colleagues, and then Ebay the rest on one of their cheap listing days. Plus I'm sure there would be a consultant in your team who would take your business tools for a reduced price.
I'm going to have a sale after my last xmas party anyway I think. Does anyone know will there be a knock down sale in the new year for the xmas products or will it just be the advertised Jan sale with the limited editions?NST September: SFD 17/20, food £62.87/£60, travel £61.55/£40, Outings £39.80/£100, Allotment £7.17/£30 Other: £42.32, Meditation ?/30.
