Hi all, i put in my letter asking for my money back on 01-08-07, then shortly after received the letter about the test case, and that all claims are on hold..

Q.1 Am i still entitled to claim the money from the 6 years i put my claim in
from, as a year has gone since then?

Q.2 ALSO, they have charged me severel times since last years claim, will i
need to send in another letter, with another £10 cheque asking for
statments from last year till now?

Im ripping my hair out what to do..

Yes, the FSA waiver effectively has suspended the 6 year limit, so as and when the OFT test case is finally settled you will be entitled to charges 6 years from when you originally claimed

If you haven't kept your statements (doh!! ) you should be able to vie wthem on-line or just go into your branch and ask for a print out of charges for the last year

    Thanks "Orford"
  • You could add onto the existing case your new charges. Good luck

If you already have a claim acknowledged by the bank you can ask for further charges. If you feel you are suffering from Financial Hardship you can apply under the FSA Hardship Waiver(link on my signature) Annex 2. They may not refund charges but may suspend/waive charges until the conclusion of the OFT test case.

What letter would i send to ask for my claim i put in 2007?

I had one letter last year saying its was on hold.. have not heard anything since, plus ive had numerous more charges for the past 2 years after 2007..

How do i add to my claim or would it be best to start it all again?

    Thanks.
