Is This Illegal???

I've heard this lots of times now, and its always Southern Electric that the letting agents are pushing.
Mmmm, pushy and Southern Electric??
I would say this is the result of either Southern Electric themselves or one of their door knockers going to the letting agents and setting up a deal where they split the comission for each tennent they force to switch.
Now I dont know if its legal or not (and unlike a lot on here I dont pretend to know one way or the other) I would say that you really need to get your hands on a copy of your tennency agreement to check. Until then I personally would just ignore the letters, if they then switch you without your knowledge/permission then it WOULD be illegal/unlawful whatever for them to do so.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!
