SECOND QUESTION:D
New vista PC
When you click on My computer the recovery (D) hard drive is RED & when you switch on, it warns of running out of space.
And there is an icon in the task bar that says low disc space.
Now I was fiddling about with this at the weekend & I thinik I may have backed up everything on the PC to that HD instead of to the external HD (which was my plan)
The task bar at the botton has a load of icons on the bottom right hand side that load up, upon turning the PC on.
This is moving, hiding & revealing itself if you go near it.
On my last PC I had it static.
How can I make this one static?
I tried the command lock the task bar, but its ticked & its not locked:o
Thank you

Right click on task bar.
Left click on properties.
Make sure that auto hide the task bar is unticked.0 -
If you mean the system tray where the clock/volume icon are, then you need to right click the taskbar/properties - this opens the Taskbar and Start Menu properties window. On the Notification Area tab, untick "hide inactive icons".0
