Hi,
Having left the camera with my ex, I've today bought a fujifilm finepix J10.
The manual says I can use the xD-picture card and the SD memory card. It also says I can use an SDHC memory card.
I'd please like to know which is the best one for me to buy? and which memory size? I'm basically going to be using it for basic things like pictures of my children and holiday snaps.
I've looked on fujis website as the destructions advise but the J10 isn't listed for which accessories to buy.
Many thanks.

Insane price right enough. 2gb will hold thousands of pictures between them. You would never need anything else.0 -
yes agree with superjaggybunnet, i have a 2gb and i can get thousands
on mine. i just put onto computer when i have time.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I agree but for a slightly different reason: XD cards are typically only used in Olympus and Fuji cameras.
If you get an SD/SDHC card (or cards) they can be re-used in many more makes of device.0 -

You've obviously not met my DD!
Many thanks, I'm ordering one now. x0 -
At the highest quality settings a 4GB card will hold just over 1000 pictures.0

Very easy to take 1,000 photos, especially if you're on holiday for a few weeks.0

Just bought 2 x8GB cards from amazon for around £15 each. 2GB is ample for photos, but 8gb stores quite a few vids too and canon don't have the highest vid compression rate either.
GOOGLE it before you ask, you'll often save yourself a lot of time.0 -
2 x 8GB!!
That is nearly as much memory as my PC LOL. In two wee cards the size of postage stamps - Amazing!0
