New BT Home Hub

This is for anyone on BT really, saw in the paper the other day that BT have a new hub out which has double wireless range, so i rang up today and asked if i could have the new hub and its getting sent out to me and should arrive in 3 days free of charge :D

This is my 3rd new hub in the past year haha, upgraded to the anywhere package and got the black hub and that was only 2months ago.

So if u want the new hub just ring up and see if they give it to ya for free worked for me

I'm under the impression theres a fee of £45-50 to upgrade to this hub ???

theres also a new Hub phone that goes with it (old one works with it )

also a power saving of 35% ish as it turns the wifi into save mode when it's not in use

    isn't the new hub a wireless-N router?

which would be useless with regards to their TV ad claims of 'double the range' etc, unless all your wireless devices are also Wireless-N compatible.
  • Has anyone tried the new BT anywhere package. I would like to know if anyone had any difficulties receivng their email outside the house with their new handheld phone. If it works outside the home, can anyone suggest which hand held mobile phone from BT is better
