cost-benefit analysis based on the increased risk for childhood leukemia alone was considered insufficient to warrant it.

Is your personal worry about the fact that it is there or that the valuation mentions it?
People live in all sorts of places.
There is a house near me that has been for sale for ages. It has only half the normal sized rear garden. The other half is an electrical substation. The substation does not look adequately fenced off and protected to my eyes.0 -
I think the point the OP needs to bear in mind is that everyone on this thread has an opinion on it, therefore most of the general public will have, therefore you WILL limit your resale market. It's irrelevant whether they do or don't cause illness, people form an opinion (right or wrong) and tend to be hard to sway from that. Even if next year they completely prove that they will not harm anyone in any way, some folks will still refuse to ever live near one.
In my own personal opinion I would also never buy a property near one, partly because I am aware I would have problems selling later, but mainly because I can't bear the awful humming noise they make.0 -
Oh no it wasn't.
Beef on the bone was, hence no T-bone steaks, but other beef was still on sale.It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
