No it's definatly illegal.
No, it isn't. Thats just the mentality that record companies want you to have. But not every piece of music made is stuck onto CD and sold. Many people release their albums for free, to get their name and music out there, so people will listen to them, and eventually buy their CDs when they start making them.0
