Hi all, I have a 17 year old daughter who used to download music but now in the current climate I have told her not too. However just to be on the safe side and ward off temptation, I'd like to know if there's any free software which will do this for me. i.e. I enter the URL and the site is blocked. I need this to work on…

No, it isn't. Thats just the mentality that record companies want you to have. But not every piece of music made is stuck onto CD and sold. Many people release their albums for free, to get their name and music out there, so people will listen to them, and eventually buy their CDs when they start making them.
