Morning :hello:

Thought I would start this off today, although I can't quite believe it's morning already - Natasha was awake until 4am  with a bad cough, so I think we are both feeling a bit groggy!

On the plus side though, hubby dyed my hair yesterday so I no longer have ropey dark roots, just shiny shiny blonde hair. :T

Hope everyone is well today?

My OH could never do my hair. He can't concentrate on something unwork related for so long.

I am so knackered after yesterday, spent all day gardening then did 10 lengths of the gym pool. Doesn't sound much but its 10 more than i normally do! Then went to bed and was so hot couldn't sleep. Eventually got up and slept on the sofa with the patio doors open! So equally groggy today for different reasons.

Off to work shortly at least the office is cold! Cold in summer and freezing in winter ha!

I dont think my DH would attempt to dye my hair either. Luckily DD is now old enough to do a decent job :D

    Hey Bunny!

Just caught up with the thread from yesterday. A couple of weeks ago I had a week without my little one. On the Friday my next youngest DD said why don't you go out tonight mum with a friend (she had an ulterior motive!) It was at this point that I realised I had NO friends to go out with, since my mate emigrated to Australia 18 months ago. Sad isn't it.....

I am in the Midlands but I am not sure if we are near enough to go out on a girly night out once in a while...

    Morning everyone :)

It is hot hot hot here already, I hate it. And I have to walk to flippin Tesco's for basics like milk, bread.

Have had the most expensive weekend possibly ever. OH bought a car on Saturday (he passed his test last week) and then idly flicking through AutoTrader online (an exciting way for anyone to spend an evening!) I spotted an absolute gem of a car and just had to go and have a look... and bought it :o It is beautiful - old - but SO well looked after. The reg is 1990 but it is cleaner and shinier than any car on our street and not a patch of rust. Only one previous owner who got it serviced every 1500 miles  - total mileage in 18 years? 36000  I have every receipt for every service and MOT it's ever had... It's practically a classic. I am delighted - but can't drive the thing for another month  Oh well I can act like a teenager and go and clean it and sit in it for hours on end :rotfl:

Rest assured this has all been planned well in advance and money put away for it! I just didn't think we'd do it all in one weekend

    Congrats Daphne.

I still love my car after 9 years of ownership. When we came close to needing to sell it (a bit before the LBM) I realised how much I loved it :o

Mines pink too :D (that was the reason it was SO much of a bargain, who wants a boy-racer car in a girlie colour?:D )
