Make sure that 'another' card is not supplied by Lloyds TSB: http://stoozing.com/cards.htm0 -
Sometimes if banks have two flavours of card then you can have a 0% offer on your second card (ie Halifax One and Halifax Charity). In the Halifax's case 6 WEEKS is enough to make you a new customer for the One card!0

I have the new AMEX/LLOYDS (15k limit) Card with zero percent for 6 months. I then applied for the Plat card and they gave me another 15k zero percent for 9 months. So it must be possible.0

Planning to apply for LLoyds TSB as I heard they give high credit limits.
So, does lloyds give credit cards to non current account holders or not? I don't want to waste my time if they dont'.0 -
There is a scheme whereby they will split your limit between the new Amex rewards card and another LTSB credit card0

thanks for your help - yes I have already got a Lloyds card. Will consider other options instead0

You can still go for their AMEX reward card and balance transfer for free.0 -
When I applied for the new amex card from LLoyds I asked them to close my two other accounts and transfer limits of 15k to the amex card. Then last week I reapplied for the Plat card back via a full application and they gave me 15k at their zero percent for 9 months. So I am in the position of stoozing 30k.0

Could be a mistake by Lloyds.
For online applications, their site says they will close your old cards and transfer any balance onto the new one. That's what happened to me, although it took a couple of weeks to transfer my balance across.0 -

Lloyds Bank grade customers from 0-9. I have been told I am a risk 1 so I'm sure no mistake was made in my case as the normally give me anything I want.0
