I don't recall them mentioning how much she sold it for. It had great views of the new build. Even that must have put the price up.The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.0

i saw that too - it was brilliant although she did have a rather large garden in the first place - I think a mistake that people make is that they think they will be able to build on any little piece of land. Yes funkyfootprints my site does have outline planning permission and we are about to subit the plans for full permission - full steam ahead!!DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

The Homebuilding (mainly for self-builders) shows in November at Harrogate and the Shepton Mallett are very interesting for anybody thinking of self-building a home.
Tickets I think are about £5 but you can get your FREE TICKETS HEREYou don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" Large print giveth - small print taketh away. "0 -
Poor old soul. She must have used the same folk as were used for building our new parliament: bummer. But she still got a beautiful creation for the spend.
Have any of you checked out the Earthships? The first one built in the UK is only a couple of miles along the coast from me, in Kinghorn.
That's certainly how I'll be building when I get to that stage.
As for everything goign downhill: put your energies into becoming self sufficient, sit back with your own tatties boilin on the stove and enjoy the view. Leave teh gold for sunset on the loch. Nature always did use gold better than Man anyway.0 -
