Thanks Dusty. Yes she does find it hard, especially as my sister was in hospital when she celebrated her 60th so I think it brings back some memories.
Have to say I have just had a whole minute without my two arguing with each other

In my HHC I have:
Cleared the settee so I can cover it in clothes.
Hoovered the LR floor
Hoovered settee
Brought case downstairs
Brought all the clothes downstairs
Everyone seems to have enough clothes ready to pack apart from me!
Okay now need to see what else I need and whether I need to iron anything else. Also need to put washing on the line but it's looking a bit grey so I'm not sure whether to or not.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Good morning Ladies, haven’t had time to catch up on the whole thread (:T there’s a lot of cleaning going on across the country!!), but hope everyone is well. I had my night off last night, went for a half-price pizza hut (voucher from Saturday’s paper), then half-price Batman which I really quite enjoyed despite not having seen any of the films, but which Boyfriend was really disappointed with (bless him, I think it’s just that he’s getting a bit old now).
The house still looks in a fairly decent state I’m pleased to say, though Dad is off work today so that may change
Here’s my list for Thursday:
Before I get home tonight:
Put air in tyres
Make doc’s appt
See about booking concert tickets
Bathroom and Toilet:
[strike]Wash towels and bathmats[/strike] Put these in the machine before I went to work, hopefully Dad will hang them out for me.
Wash windowsills down
Clean toilet
Clean bath, inc. putting some plughole un-blocker down – my shower this morning almost turned into a bath!
Clean sink
Wash tiles down
Mop floors
Clear out bathroom cabinet
Does anyone have any tips for cleaning grout that’s gone black? (I know, I’m ashamed) Is it just bleach on a toothbrush, and a bit of elbow grease?
Other various:
Washing up and wipe kitchen tops
Tomorrow’s packed lunch
The litter tray will need doing again. There was a spider crawling about in it this morning  so I hope that’s gone by the time I get home!
Help Dad with his Fantasy Football team as it’s all online (hopefully once I set him away with this he’ll be ok…)
Sort charity bag and put in the car ready to take tomorrow
Jobs left over from earlier in the week:
Cut out all the recipes from the pile of magazines I've been keeping, put magazines in recycling and glue recipes in my book
Clear tops and dusting in bedroom
I think that should be quite enough to be going on with! Has anyone else noticed though that the cleaner the house gets on the ‘surface’, the more you want to clean and de-clutter? I found myself eyeing the wardrobe this morning thinking “All those shoes, and I never wear half of them…” What have you done to me??!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning folks
I hope you are all well,
Not really done too much, wm on and finished, waiting to sort out weather before I peg it out.
Going to hoover round
HM pasta and mince sauce for dinner tonight, with some left over melon.
I too have cleared out a wardrobe, and wondered why on earth I kept so much 'stuff'! soon I will run out of things to clear out, so have to start on the 'stuff' in the loft, which has beeen carefully stored in there, just in case it might be needed, some of it has been up there 15 years+ !!! and clearly not been needed.

So, yesterday I managed to do a wash, put it out and then fill a bin bag in the spare room/office and that was it. A grand total of 30 minutes.

So now I have most of Wednesday and Monday to catch up with and todays...
