Anyone got Sky TV, broadband & phone?

Options
Hi, hope someone can help! I have Tiscali BB which costs - wait for it! - £26 a month - and have been paying that for about 4 years (pls don't berate me for being hopeless, it's something I'm always meaning to get round to - everything else I do is moneysaving!)

At Easter (ie last time I had time off work) I spent almost a day hanging on the phone to Indian call centres trying to get Tiscali to reduce the payment, which they said they couldn't do, so I asked for a MAC code or PAC code or whatever it was. That was supposed to be emailed to me within 10 days but surprise surprise wasn't - and it's only now I have time to take them on again.

So, please help:

1. Any advice for sticking a rocket up Tiscali? Ideally I'd stay with them to avoid hassle switching if they'd just reduce the cost

2. We've never had Sky so I quite like the idea of getting Sky TV as well as the BB and phone, for about what I've been paying Tiscali. Am I being naive here or is that a good idea? (our phone currently with Tiscali too)

3. How bad is the transition period? My worst nightmareis being without BB for ages and having to phone lots of times - esp if call centre in Bangalore!

Hope someone has some advice for me!

If you stick phone number/postcode in here - http://www.samknows.com/broadband/checker2.php and sky/easynet is available LLU and you get sky tv as well then yes, a good deal. I would go for them if they did our exchange. Their sky connect is not so good though and pricey.
Shouldn't be much down time at all.

I swapped over a while ago and (so far) it's the best broadband move I've made in years. Had tried umpteen ISP's but when Sky LLU'ed our exchange (check the Samknows link on other message) I moved immediately. I have the 4 mix TV (£19 per month I think), Sky Max (£10 per month) and the free calls of peak and weekends. Didn't take the line rental option as I still have issues with BT that I want to resolve. Faultless ISP at Max level, have heard minus points about Connect and base products but consider what you're giving Tiscali at the minute!!

Does the £26 include your telephone line rental as well?
Bear in mind that you will have to go back to BT for your telephone before Sky will offer you broadband, whether its LLU or Connect.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
