Internet cost question.

I'm on Vodafone £7.50 per month at the moment, I go on internet 3/4 times a day to check my email and very occasionally send one.
Would it be cheaper to pay as I go, rather than the package?
I'm not sure how costs are worked out.
Thanks

    According to vodafone site

"If you are a Pay monthly customer, you can add an unlimited* Mobile Internet and email pack to your price plan for just £5 a month. The £5 per month contract lasts for the duration of your current price plan. To add the pack to your price plan, call 191 or visit your local Vodafone shop."

So £5 if you are on a contract - otherwise its £7.50 (they might have dropped their prices)

OR you can pay £1 per day. To get the following

"For £1 per day you can get unlimited Mobile Internet browsing. If you browse just a few pages a day and use less than 0.5MB in the process, you only pay for those pages.
    • Reading 5 pages of news on the BBC costs about 25p.
    • Finding a restaurant on Google search costs about 20p."2
Its pretty hopeless on pay and go - trying to work out how many tiny pages you have looked at - I believe it to be a con - internet usage should be a lot cheaper but alas.

Anyway £5 on contract looks best option.

Yes well I find it confusing, but thanks I shall be ringing tomorrow to find out why I'm paying £7.50 as I have a contract.

AFAIK it's £5 if you commit at the start of your contract to have it for the duration of your contract - you can drop the £7.50 from the start of your next billing cycle at any time.
