£5 today off a meal - I complained last year about food at a pub and they sent me an email telling me that if I presented it I would get a fiver off. I got my fiver off and won't ever eat there again:j

See this thread - it is a loophole where they will give you £100 free for opening an account (need to deposit £200) - but you only have to do one trade which if done carefully will lose pennies only. Then you can withdraw the lot. I lost 30p on my trade so have just withdrawn the rest - my £200 and the remaining £99.70 of the freebie. It is not completely straightforward - opening the account requires some effort - and it is potentially not risk free as if you make a mistake with the trade you can start losing the money quickly - but it is a very good return if you do it as per the thread. So pretty easy if a little nerve-wracking!
  • Hi everyone, I made £16 last night selling the rest of my DD's Barbies and a few books, again through the free ads in the local paper. Also the buyer left me her phone number so that I can ring her when my next lot of toys get sorted, that'll be the Polly Pockets! Also won £10 on last Saturday's draw, not won on this for ages!

Received £26 commission cheque from Littlewoods today, but only just as when my account got hijacked in March they gave me a new account number. But what they didn't tell me was that new accounts can't claim commission, I only found this out when I asked for mine. As it wasn't my fault I had a new account they let me start claiming it again. I told them I wanted it back-dated and they agreed. :j I have been with them for 18 years and I would have not been happy if they had said no.
