I haven't made any money today but have just printed some labels to send off old printer cartridges to Boots. They give you £1 for each one you recycle

    http://www.bootsrecycle.com/consumer/recyclecartridges.asp

Tesco do a similar deal too

Its very quiet here this evening - are you all busy playing on Gala?

You're welcome. Good luck with those listings - that sounds difficult. You'll have to lock yourself indoors!

I just checked the Tesco deals on recycling. They give 100 points for each one or you can use an affiliate website (which is not working this evening) who pay £1 each and when you send them 5 or more they will send you a cheque

OH wanted a book and did a bit of research and with new WHsmith priviledge club voucher (£5 off when you spend £10 on a single book) it was cheapest there so total spend £5.99, then used all points on whsmith clubcard (2.65) remainder of gift card which I got for doing surveys (3.28) then needed 6p more so gave her a paper £10 voucher I had for smiths too from doing surveys and she said she had to give me the change in cash - brilliant - 9.94 in cash - has gone straight in my money I've made piggy and then will transfer the £5.99 for the book from our current account too.

Sorry to waffle but was really pleased to get all that voucher change in cash as we don't buy much from Whsmiths.

    Total now: £24.21

  • I don't think I will add this to the total as I suppose its technically work income but I just wanted to post it cos I am so happy. I have started putting on a monthly music night in London. I usually break even with maybe enough for a beer at the end of the night but tonight I made £250 profit! Am so chuffed and I didn't have to buy a drink either!
