I would only count money I would have spent - and transfer the amount into my savings. If its a "virtual saving" and I do or buy something I couldn't/wouldn't have done without the voucher then I don't count it.

So if I was going to buy a book, log in to Amazon and find I have enough in my gift balance that I don't have to use real money then it counts, and I transfer the money into my saving account because I would have bought it anyway.

If I receive an Amazon voucher for doing a survey and decide to use it straight away as a treat - and buy something I probably wouldn't have bought without the voucher then it doesn't count towards the challenge.

not got anything to update at the moment. I'm doing the car boot next Saturday (weather permitting), so hoping to make a few bob from that.

Thanks Ciara, tomorrow was my original start date- well remembered! My new Line Manager has now booked off 2 weeks leave though, from tomorrow until Monday 1st September. So they have said they will pay me from tomorrow, but I won't be starting until Mon 1st Sept now.
They want me to learn how to man a generic mail box for the next 2 weeks while I'm still in my original post, so I will be training for that Tuesday.

Obviously the fact that I'm now getting paid 3 scales more then my collegues for the next 2 weeks has not gone down very well- only to the ones that have been horrible to me about my new job. Kinda feel like it serves them right for being so horrible to me...

Hi all, just popping in to say i have made an extra £15.50 today from mystery shopping, so thats another little boost to my earnings. Am in that catch twenty two position where i can't match bet as don't have enough money, but can't get any more money till i do match bet:rotfl:Still, where there is a will there is a way!! So will hopefully have some money to match bet with soon, once a bookie pays out, although they are a bit tough at paying out!
