My lodger is moving out at the end of August and has just offered me £40 for four chairs that have been in my outhouse for 6 months gathering dust. Let me think - should I let him have them for £40?

    Where do I sign?

As they are dust collectors and are not being used, snatch the lodger's hand off and accept the £40.

Today, I acquired a £5 money off voucher for Slug & Lettuce - I have to spend £10 (not difficult with their food) before I can use the voucher.:j

Sell the chairs. At the moment anything in my house with a layer of dust on has a 'for sale' sign slapped on it!
Didn't do boot fair on Sunday as when the alarm went off at 5.30 it was raining (no, really it was) so went back to bed. When I got up at 8 the sun was shining! I'm going to try the Saturday one this week for the first time. Three war books on ebay at the moment, only one with a bid, but have until Sunday afternoon to gather some interest. Oh and I find 2p whilst hoovering behind the TV cabinet. woo hoo!

  • I know it's the wrong place to post but I am so chuffed I thought I'd share it - I have just been informed that I won a sim free LG KF750 phone from Play.com. It is worth around £260. I don't enter comps much but that is about to change now.

Just got a lovely email from a friend saying I've won the £30 voucher we entered a local competition for. I've hit my target! Going to keep going and see how far I can get this month.
