I'm making iced tea, even boiling the kettle for that seemed wrong:rotfl:
bean soup in the sc though, I'll probably freeze it for when the weather is cooler - November? Or next week?
How do you make iced tea? I buy the branded stuff but always thought it should be easy to make at home

Delia Smith has a recipe. I'll edit it, cos I rarely look at the book nowadays

Make up some very strong tea (she has 6 bags 2 pints)
Add sugar (she has 2 tbsps) and mint sprigs
Infuse for 15-20 mins then remove T-bags
When cold put in a jug with:
ice cubes
10fl oz orange juice
juice 1/2 lime (oh I'd forgotten that, hard luck no limes)
orange & lemon slices and replace the old mint with fresh mint.
et voila!0 -
