Wonder how many will switch to voipcheap or sipdiscount (and pay their credit in) before their free calls get chopped?

Perhaps Finera's business plan is based upon collecting £5 signup fees? They can keep running short beta trials under new brands forever and many wil keep signing up and leaving unused credit.

Why else would one company want to create so many brands?

I was told that they also increased the money to 10 Euros to make free unlimited phonecalls now. I haven't checked it yet. However, it is ok for those who registered earlier with 1 Euro or 5 Euros.

Well, voipcheap uses IAX. It couldn't be set up with ATA adapter which only allows sip protocol.

It's a bit of a drag that these services are not compatible with xlite - I'm getting fed up with using a new voip clinet everytime I switch comapnies.

Regarding the €10 minimum on voipbuster.

Although the minimum payment by paypal or moneybookers seems to be €10 they also offer a £1.50 per call (account credited with £1.20) top-up via a premium telephone line.

It meant that if you use the top-up via premium number, you need to top-up many times to reach the minimum amount of money which you can make unlimited free calls. Am I right in thinking so ?

Well it works, doesnt it. (sadly)

Can you transfer funds from Voipcheap to Sipdiscount or have I got it wrong again. Voipcheap has Sip link on top menu line which takes you to Sipdiscount.

I don't know the answer to this as I didn't try it myself. I was hoping somebody else would try it.

I tried switching to sipdiscount.com and on that I see that they impose a maximum account balance of €5 - you are not allowed to increase it beyond that.

When I try and sign up on voipcheap I get to the credit card screen but there is no amount to select (like there used to be on voipbuster).

Has anyone signed up and knows how much it will take?!
