Broadband when you have phone through Primus

Hi ladies and gents,
I've just signed up to Primus' six month contract on their 'Home Phone Saver' deal. On the website here www.primussaver.co.uk/homephone.html it is quoted at £10.49 per month.
I really need broadband at home and at the minimum internet access. However, contacting ISPs (eg O2, AOL and Tiscali has shown a problem: They will only provide a service if you are paying your phone rental to BT. I explained to them that the line was still owned by BT and simply leased to primus, but no dice. They insist I must actually be directly paying BT for at least the rental of the line or it won't work.
So bearing that in mind, which ISPs can I go to who do not impose this proviso ?
Thanks folks,
Dave

Primus Broadband. http://www.primussaver.co.uk/homephone_broadband_packages.html
One of the reasons its not a good idea to move your line rental from BT is the problem you have been faced with.0 -
primus do their own broband which has no caps on useage . which is great . Howerver while it will get you out of a hole . in the changing market primus are not cheap nor have much to speak of in the way of freebies . I'm in the same postion as you with both phone and broband , my contract ends in december where i will more then likely have the hassle of changing , on the whole primus is great when you compare to stories from aol or sky . have you thought about mobile broband0

you can get other broadband on a primus based line rental package, since they should be wholesaling that via BT - like most other providers do...0
