See right there - I would be running for the hills!!! Of course it's your business - You're going to be living there on a daily basis bringing up the family.Noli nothis permittere te terere

I think that the most worrying thing about this is the fact that your partner has said to you that the question of the house finance is none of your business and that you're a gold digger! This doesn't sound to me like a basis for a relationship and I think that you should think carefully about your family's future with this man.0

How do i find the registy? do i pay to get it? (worth it) when i know the truth then i will decide

I know i would have right over his home,
no, you wouldn't necessarily have any rights at all....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
With a MIL like the one you're describing there, are you sure you want to move closer to her, or is that the best place for your OH to live cause of work etc?
Sounds like an absolute nightmare to me, and added to that the argument, maybe take a little more time before leaving the council house to somewhere unstable.DFW - DEBT FREEEEEE!

As I suggested, that will result in you knowing the facts. How do i find the registy? do i pay to get it? (worth it) when i know the truth then i will decide
But once you know the facts:- If there is an issue over ownership, then you should get yourself out of the situation
- If there is no issue over ownership, you have now created a large trust issue
Save yourself the effort and the fees. If this is the only way you can get to the truth, then logically the relationship is dead in the water! After the uprising of the 17th June The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?0 -

It will cost you £3 for a copy of the Register and it looks like you can now download it straight away or view it online.
There are 3 Parts to the Register - which very simply put are as follows
A) Description of the property (and any rights and reservations etc)
Who owns it and how they own it (either jointly - if 2 or more owners - which means if one dies it automatically reverts to the survivor - or with a restriction that it cannot be sold without consent of all owners names on register)
C) This reveals any mortgages (and sometimes restrictive covenants which is to do with how the property is used)0 -
I'd keep your house if possible as a plan B as if these issues are at the start of your relationship, then you're probably always going to need a solid plan B.
As others have said, you need to discuss these issues with him directly, explaining your fears. If you then do not trust the answers, then that is another issue between yuo and him...
Good luck, I hope things work out.0 -
