I have just installed Firefox, but some sites are telling me I need to download plugins, Adobe reader,to view photos and animations. I've tried this, I've even down loaded latest version, but no joy.
Can anyone help, I'm getting cross now :-)

Do you mean Adobe Flash Player?

Facebook won't let me upload photos and my childrens school, but those are the only two I know are a problem, could be others.0

I think that requires Java.
From facebook help on uploading images:Please make sure that you have the latest version of your browser installed and have also updated your version of Java recently.

usually clicking the 'download (install?) missing plugin' text on the toolbar does it. i have not used iexplore for years, and i make full use of media on the netUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0
