I keep getting a message from ebay saying my credit card is due to expire. If i don't update my details in time will i lose my eBay account or is it only important if you want to sell something? i mean can i still buy from ebay even if my bank details and card have expired?

this is not from ebay, it's a spoof, just ignore it, ebay will never ask you for your details or paypal. Just log into your paypal account and you will be able to see from there how your account stands.abolish call centres now!0

If it really came from ebay and not paypal, then it's a spoof. If it claimed you would lose your account if you didn't update your details, then it's a spoof. If your credit card isn't about to expire then it's a spoof. Need I go on?
Edit: Oh yes, forward it to spoof@ebay.co.uk or spoof@paypal.co.uk for confirmation.0 -
I got a message from Paypal saying I had to become a verified customer. They want me to give them my bank account details and they say will pay 2 small amounts of money into my account. I then have to email them back to say what the amounts are.? Not sure whether to or not, as it seems like a dodgy thing. Anybody else come accross this? Seems I cannot pay for anything by paypal until I do this.keep smiling,

I don't see why you would need to update them, as, in theory, you could delete the card from paypal altogether and fund your payments by other means. But this is ebay telling you to update them. Did I mention I was confused?
