Is it possible to to switch gas only in order to fix price at the moment ?
I have problem to get this information from comparison sites for gas alone. I have a prepayment meter for electricity so I cannot choose dual fuel unfortunately. (we do not have any debt but this is rented accommodation and I dont want to change the meter but maybe we should, we will live here about a year).
Will I benefit for changing gas only? We only moved in few weeks ago and I dont know my usage.
I am in Yorkshire, with Npower for both gas and electricity.

Interested in the answer to this one myself, as I'm in exactly the same situation. It would look like the only option for fixed price is on dual fuel tarrifs. Don't mind changing both gas and electric, but sadly I also can't lose the meter on the electric.
British Gas's 2009 offer doesn't seem to be available to payment meters, and needs dual fuel.
Scottish Power seem to have very bad customer service when it comes to prepayment meters, so I think it'd be best if I avoided them.
Anyone got any other suggestions?0 -
Eon also has fixed price offer (V17) only for dual fuel, not for prepayment electricity.0
