Hello,
(This is my first thread)
I'm 17 years old i have got a savings account with a building society, but will not provide me with a debit card until i am 21.
Please can somebody advice on any bank's that allows you to transfer money for free (or the lowest cost) and has a high interest rate.
Kind Regards
Steve

Lloyds TSB will give you a VISA debit card. You'll have to look around for high interest rate, I think Alliance & Leicester have one for under 21s. Transfers are usually free unless you meant transferring fund abroad.0

Thanks for you help, i was mainly looking for a Direct debit card if you know what i mean and try and keep away from the credit cards temptation.
so this is what i am after:
i am going to buy a Laptop on the internet so i need to open an account with a bank that will let me set up a direct debit account, to pay for it on-line.
Do you recommend any banks that are the best in this field?
for Solely a Direct Debit account to be honest i don't really mind about the interest as i will be spending it as soon as it is in my account.0 -
Sorry for the mix up i should of explained it in the first article.

This is not really a credit card question and you may get replies more quickly, if you post again on the Budgeting & Current Accounts board
