I think what kitster means is. When you get a new card and you have a card with outstanding balance, then say your outstanding balance was £500, then you would transfer £1000 to new card and leaving you £500 in credit with old firm, then give them a call and they will send you a cheque in your name for £500.Kind Regards

No I think he had 2 balance transfers - I.F to Tesco card and Natwest to Tesco.
I deliberatley did the same recently £3600 to Co-op from Nat West and £3600 from A&L. Co-op ignored my first request to pay the money into my bank account so they agreed to do a free CHAPS when I rang the second time. Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.0 -
correct stabilo but other way around.£2000 shifted to I.F from tesco and by mistake the same 2000 shifted to Natwest from tesco leaving 2000+ on tesco which they are sending to my bank.:: No Unauthorised Links in Signatures please - FM ::0

Some times it is best to keep quiet when you have found an unofficial way of doing bt. I found an excellent way to bt but keep it to myself incase the loop hole is closed.
Remember the credit card company are not our friends and no doubt they have spies who look at these boards.0 -

Perhaps CTT would like to send us a PM. I do NOT work for a credit card company. Before you buy Google Nest or British Gas Hive check out ESPproMon the Android and iOS Smartphone app that helps you build the same system from just £30.0
