I have joined e7even and you get a free static IP
They have yearly packages but atm (as they are normally) you sign up for a 512 package and you get double speed for free
I got 1mb for £170 for the year.

REFERRAL LINKS
Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: Sorry, referral links and suggestions are only permitted on the Referrers Board. I have asked Board Guides to move any they see on the main boards. If you have any questions about this policy please email !!!!!!.0 -
Before you consider E7Even, it may be an idea to have a look HERE (the E7Even forum at ADSLGuide). The are big problems with this company at the moment, their service is not living up to what it's meant to be, and a LOT of their customers are complaining. I've now lost count of the amount of E7Even customers I've seen saying that they could not in all honesty recommend this company (I was surprised to see a recommendation here at the moment). How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Things have been up and down over the last few weeks, but something was done towards the end of last week - my speeds have returned to normal, even at peak times. Not sure what exactly e7 have done to cause the improvement in the service, but hopefully things are getting back to normal.
In fairness to e7, they did promptly reply to my support ticket regarding this matter last week, saying that improvements would be carried out over the next few weeks - I tend to take it with a pinch of salt when there are no specific details given. However, they do seem to have delivered the promised improvements, for me anyway.
By the way, I would post your referral code on the referrer's thread - I suspect it may be removed from here...0 -
Also e7even give an extra weeks broadband for 1 day outage.
that is the only outage i have suffered and my speeds have always been top notch.
ive had broadband for about 5 years now and they have by far been the best.0 -
I also received an extra week for the slow speeds we've been experiencing, hopefully we won't see any more for a while...0

Ok if you want a static IP i recommend you go to blueyonder, the ip only changes if you request it.
Sony users many not know what a static ip is:
'A fixed (non-dynamic) IP address. Your IP address and host name are recorded in DNS, and remain unchanged each log in.' this was taken from https://www.alamedapt.com/alamedanet/glossary.html.0 -

Telewest Blueyonder said on their site checker I couldnt get cable
so I gave em a ring and I could as the site wasnt upto date by 3days.
And not forggeting they can run cable into an existing TV socket
if a previous occupier has ever had cable TV.0 -
