Uk Cheap communication

Hi guys,

I'm gonna be moving to study in London in september and was wondering if someone out there could be so kind to tell me which handphone provider will be the best for me.. I top up my cellular balance once in a while so those offers of getting free sms and stuff after a 15 pounds reload will be kindda hard for me.

Thanks

Ciao :rotfl:

  • You don't say how many minutes you'll need (I presume From your comment you'll be a light user) or the duration of your stay.

A good deal for you might be the 3 Skypephone - this would enable you to keep in touch with family and friends back in Italy.

It might be hard to get a contract now since you've no residence in the UK - however, after you arrive you can get it on a six month contract with 300 mins for £15 a month but unltd Skype calls (excellent for phoning folks in Italy.)
You could add International saver(this needs a contract) for £15pcm (unlimited calls to landlines) for calling those folks in Italy without Skype.

Or buy it for £40 PAYG (pay as you go) - £10 a month is required to have the Skype functionality.
