Cashback card: AMEX Blue vs Morgan Stanley

Could anyone tell me which is the best credit card for those of us who pay off our full balance each month? I'm really looking for a good cashback card, and it seems that it's between AMEX Blue and Morgan Stanley (or Goldfish, as it's now called).
AMEX Blue is 0.5% cashback for the first £3500, and then 1% from £3501.
Not sure about Morgan Stanley/Goldfish, but I've heard it's a good rate.
Any advice most appreciated!

Have you considered the Amex Platinum Moneyback card? Its 5% for the first £4000/3 months then variable depending on spend:
From Amex site:a rebate of 5% will be payable to you by us on all transactions made in the first 3 months up to £4,000 and applied at the same time as any annual rebate. An annual rebate on the aggregate amount of all transactions (other than the exclusions stated above and any introductory offer) will be payable to you by us and calculated at the following rates, 0.5% for aggregate amounts up to £3,500; and 1% for aggregate amounts from £3,501 to £10,000; and 1.5% for aggregate amounts in excess of £10,001.0 -
None of the cards you mention are top rate payers.
Consider:-
AMEX Platinum Credit Card at 5% for 1st 3 months then tiered
Shell Citi Card for 3% on Shell Purchases and 1% on all other purchases
Capital One World Platinum Credit Card (via moneysupermarket) for 2% on all purchases
Barclaycard Cashback for 4% until September then 0.5%
Egg Money for 1% on all purchases#145 Save £12k in 2016 Challenge: £12,062.62/£12,000.00 Beginning Balance: £5,027.78 CHALLENGE MET

AMEX Blue is no longer marketed or availlable to new customers AFAIK.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!

I have been with Amex 8 months (platinum cashback). Their customer service is excellent - the best credit card company I have ever used.
Also, you get free purchase insurance for 3 months which could be handy - see their website for the full info."Brevity is the soul of wit and it is also the essence of effective communication" Rush Limbaugh.0 -

Consider:-
Capital One World Platinum Credit Card (via moneysupermarket) for 2% on all purchases
Is that accurate? I thought it was:
Earn 0.5% cashback on the first £1,000 of all your purchases per statement period
Earn 2% cashback on all other purchases up to a maximum of £2,000 per statement period
So the best you can do is if you spend exactly £2000 each month, giving you £25 (1.25%) cashback.0 -

Capital one gives you this as well, as well as identity fraud protection for all your cards + 2 free experian reports a year all free!
Must look into their 2% cashback, only get 1% for everything at the mo

100% true, blue was launched for young professionals to get them on the 'amex ladder' (up to gold platinum etc) they started scaling the card down about 18 months ago and now it is replaced with the blue sky card which offers travel rewards as opposed to cash back0 -
Can someone tell me how AMEX pay the cashback. Do they send you a cheque or does the money just get credited to your account?
Thanks.0 -
