carribean in october

Hello, Anyone been to the caribbean in early/mid-October? is the weather OK? - i've looked at many websites, and it seems to be OK but I'd like some first hand accounts. Cheers Alex.

We've been to Barbados for the last 3 years in mid October. The end of the rainy season, but that means a showers or two for 30 mins maybe for 2 days of the week. Barbados is not very prone to hurricanes as well, which is another plus.
