Me too, I was wondering what to do but think I'll give it a miss if it messes up the computers.

Well I got the email and have joined up, however after reading these comments I'm going to remove the software. Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow!

i have joined but regretting it now after reading these posts,i will give it a try for a couple of weeks and see how it goes,if my comp starts playing up i will unistall it straight away.

i give it a go but this mron found that my FW settings had been changed removed software and hey presto back up and running.

Lol! I love that- not intrusive seems to mean two very different things!

I downloaded the Nielsen software and that gave no problems to my PC at all, but I have now uninstalled it because the incentive is rubbish. You get 3 chances to enter a prize draw which you probably won't win, and to enter to have to take time out to play their stupid games. NOT worth it IMHO.

Like many of the posters here I had the same issues.

The panel is legit but I did have problems with my computer after a couple of months so wasn't really worth the hassle.

Also a couple of times the link to play the win did not work and I kept getting an error message saying that the promotion was no longer availabe. I had to keep contacting Nielsen who would send another link and all would be fine for a week or two and then the same old error message.

I decided, like many others, it wasn't worth the effort and as I do not know of anyone who actually won anything, I felt I was providing them with valuable information for nothing!

but they give you points for having the software on your pc.i ordered a sainsburys voucher with mine a couple of months ago.not had a problem with the software so it's easy money for me
