I place the lock on so the steam has stopped and then place back on the base. Or just leave the iron on the ironing board like a normal iron when you are turining the clothes etc. HTHs0 -
you can put them on the base it wont melt ive went out to pick the kids up and left mine on and its totally ok it was a accident and i wouldnt recomend doing it tho haha
